The Life That We Knew Is Through

pretty cool weekend.

saturday we went to the base. i got my new cell phone which i totally love. it's awesome. it receives text and it's a lot clearer when talking to people. it came with an accessory pack so i have all those cool stuff too. inculding a double minute card, which is awesome. i also got the fifty dollar card for two bucks with this accessory pack! can't beat that. i also got some bright blue headphones that i loveee. they are so cute. i had gotten new headphones quite recently but they started breaking after a few months...i could only out of one ear...sometimes. yeah, it was time for new ones. i also got blake shelton's new cd, Startin' Fires. which is really great. so far of all those new releases i wanted i've gotten taylor swift 'fearless', david cook 'david cook' and blake shelton 'startin' fires'. they are really awesome.

yesterday eric and dad went to a hockey game...me and mom went to town and out to dinner and stuff.

and today was teen leaders. it was pretty hilarous. we tried to make paper out of recyled paper. hahaha. it didn't work so well though. as jake put it 'it looks like lint!' XDDD and it did. lol. we also talked about a lock-in this coming spring, t-shirts and about how we are going to march in the parade next monday. yay.

eric picked me up afterwards, since dad was at work and mom was feeding. it was pretty cool.

and i'm probably going to the NRHA show this saturday. to a stacey westfall clinic. =]

Nothing To Run From Is Worse Than Something.

well someone was supposed to come look at tango today, but they never showed up. but we have some other people coming to look at him soon. so hopefully one of those will work out.

anyway. my skinny jeans came today. =] and they fit. so that's awesome. they are really cute and the color is really great.

so that's about it. lol. i did a ton of history and science today. and i worked on the guitar some more.

Don't Fall Down My Concrete Girl

sorry, i haven't posted at all this week. there really hasn't been much to say. but quick recap.

someone came to look at tango on friday. he liked him, but said he didn't have the money or time and would have to pass on him. someone is coming to look at him tomorrow. i'll kind of hate to see him go, but i know it means a new horse that will be better suited with us, and that sheik will fur shure get his training. so it'll all work out for the best. of course.

uh, and i'm not sure if i talked about sheik's nose or not, but it's almost completely healed up. it looks really good. it's not even scaring. =D however the cut on his forehead [it's like four inches long -.- is healed but seems to be leaving a scar. it's a huge scar too. hopefully the hair will grow back, very, very soon. or at least, before spring.

i started learning to the play the guitar again. not sure if i mentioned that or not. i try to spend around an hour a day working on it. i can play seven chords, and have two more chords to learn before i can learn to play a song, going by the book. i need to learn how to play the chords faster, a progression. i've sped up a lot in the last week, but A, D and E are really hard to play fast because i have to completely rearrange all of my fingers for each chord. i'm getting there though. and i finallyfinally got in tune today. i got one of those 'automatic tuner' thingies, which suck, actually. but i actually sat down and spent the time. i only had two strings out of tune, and it did take me quite a while, but i got them. and it sounds a lot better. yayy.

today i didn't do a whole lot. i watched a monk marathon and spent a long time playing on the gutiar. then we went out to dinner at sonic, and we bought ice cream on the way home. i watched cold case and now here i am.

A Day In L.A And Millions Of Faces

ohh yeahh.

Stuck In A Line

hmm. well i really didn't too much today. we did go to town, and we went out to lunch at taco bell and ran to the store. and i made some more muddy buddies. i played with the puppies and with my sheikers some. but that's really about all. lol. not terribly exciting. so i guess i'll talk about other stuff. lol.

liikkke how much i love writing. i love it. a lot. i love being able to create something that people would want to read after nothing. i like being able to see the words form, and the storyline and characters take shape. i really love writing. i do it for about two hours every night, and i try to do it every single night, even if i have a serious case of writers block. i also have two stories and i go back and forth between them. they are, of course, bright eyes and escape. I really want to finish them. i also have a sequel planned for escape.

ohhh. and tango is sold. or at least, might be. my mom listed him on another site tonight and we got about eight repilies right away. it's a person in texas and they want him for a trail horse. they go camping with their horses and they have four other horses, so it sounds like they know what they are doing. i hope it works out. =]

To Put Motion Inside My Soul

today was funn. i watched loves enduring promise, loves long journey, loves abiding joy, loves unending leagacy, loves unfolding dream. that's about ten hours. XD it was awesome though. i hadn't seen them in a long time, and i hadn't really ever watched all of loves unfolding dream before. it annoys me that they go so far from the books [like willie dying!!!!! that annoys me to NO end] but i tried not to think about that and just enjoy the movies.

annnd between loves long journey and loves abiding joy we went to the store and got pizza and these amazing breadsticks. they were so awesome. at the end of loves unending legacy i ran out and fed sheikers. his nose is looking a lot better, but he's not real big on people touching his nose right now, so i think it still hurts. it looks like it's healing okay though. i hope it doesn't leave a scar.

annd at the very beginning of loves unfolding dream we made muddy buddies. yummmmm. i lovee them. they are amazing. like seriously.

and that was pretty much it. lol. not too exiting but i had fun.

ohhh. and i ordered my skinny jeans. hopefully they come soon and hopefully they will fit.

Movement Inside My Soul

see something new? think something looks a little bit different? hmm, i wonder what that could be. yesss, a new look! and frankly i'm loving it! i think i might keep this one for...a long time. hopefully, i will at least.

so today. ehh. i woke up cold to my mom saying 'you should get up, i turned on the heat, it's warmer in the other room.' so i got up. but it wasn't really any warmer. brrr. it wasn't really a cold day, just really windy with an edge to it. like fall. you know, how it would be in a place that's actually normal. and it's kind of blah, because the leaves have already pretty much fallen and there was only one sort of pretty day. bleh. i do suppose i need to take out my camera soon and take a few pictures. if i can find anything picture worthy.

after that i tried to order my new jeans online but it wouldn't take the debit card and blahblahblah. sooo hopefully if we go to the store tomorrow i'll be able to find them. which would actually be awesome because i would be able to try them on and everything. if i can't find them i'll order them tomorrow night with a credit card.

i did get some cool mail today. first i got my check from the state fair. which really wasn't all that cool because it was only for a dollar. lol. it seems like a waste of paper, and i'm fairly tempted not to cash it all. lol. it seems like such a waste of time to go to the bank to get a dollar, but yeah. my other mail was an invitation to the farmers union dinner this monday. because i won grand champion at the fair. so that's pretty cool. i'm probably going. it's the same night as horse club, but it's like the only meeting i've ever missed so i think it'll be okay. lol.

dad brought home subway for dinner which was awesomeeee. and then we had baked apples for desert.

More Than A Name

bleh. not really been a good mood all day. just things that have been bugging me.

last night at around midnight the power went out. i had just gone to bed and was about to read. luckily i had a flash light.

annnd the power stayed out until 11 this morning. gah. that sucked. it was so boring and woke up really early and got up, cause i didn't know what time it was. lol.

after that i didn't do a whole lot. bleh.

and sheik got his nose all cut up tonight. it's kinda bad. but i think he'll be okay and it wasn't bad enough for stitches.

and i got my pictures from the photorapher finally, so that's cool. i want her to do my senior pictures next summer. or at least to be able to get senior pictures. =p
annd the gray wash skinnies i want are on sale for nine bucks so i was gonna order them tonight but mom never asked dad if i could use his credit card to do it, so i gues i'l be doing it tomorrow. =p

EwNess.

disappointed. i'm highly disappointed in our country, quite honestly. i think people are going to deeply regret this decision and their votes. i dont think people knew what they were voting for and i think they are gonna be surprised when he starts doing all those things that i know he is going to do. i think that people were so into the idea of 'change' and that he was such a great speaker that they didn't care about anything else. well yes, we are gonna get change. but not the change people expected. oh well. at least i can say that i did not and will never support, in anyway shape of form.

and every single county in oklahoma was for john mccain. so at least i can know that the majority of people in my state made the right decision. we also now have a republican in every office in oklahoma except for the governor. so that's pretty sweet as well.

anyway i didn't do a whole lot today. school. i made cookies. did some house work, played with sheik and the puppies. yeah. that was my day.

Of The Deepest Emotion

*sigh* so it's basically no secret to anyone that i am completely for john mccain. i despise obama. well it's probably deeper than that, but yeah. i'm very disappointed that it looks like he will become the next president of the us.

i'm also extremely disappointed in the media. they call it the 'liberal media' for a reason. they still have a ton of states left but they are already 'obama's going to win!' and yes, he probably will, but i think they need to shut up and get in all the results.

oh and i completely garantee you that in the next election [if i'm still living in this country and we haven't suceeded from the union, which would be freaking amazing] i will not be voting for barack obama.

with that said i'm resting in the knowledge that at least i'll have till january before things change.

and hey, it's probably not too late to move out of the country...

The Stars Are Alive They Dance To The Music

tonight was the 4h awards dinner.

i wore my dress and did my hair back with this cool clip that matched it. xD There was a pretty even amount of people that were dressed up and people that weren't at all. so i didn't look out of place which was basically my big fear.

we helped set up and tables and balloons before hand. then the teen leaders sat up at the stage, at a table. i sat with sara and claire and rendi. todd and i had to speak first, and i think i did my part pretty well. i changed up the ending though, because it was like 'so let's celebrate 4h's hundreth year in 4h.' or something like that. which isn't even true, so i did 'so let's celebrate 4h's hundredth year in oklahoma.' it worked much better, i think. after that they said the pledge and everything, and we went down and sat with our families to eat. the dinner was pretty good. it was catered and had kind of a buffet thing.

after that we had to go back up and sit on the stage. we had speaker and then we were all inducted into the teen leaders. we had to say a pledge. then we had more awards. our club won the best club of the year award, and i got to present it, which was cool. =] i got an award in horse for record book.

i got to do first year senior record book award too, and i won one of the two 'best senior record books of the year' which was pretty sweet.

and then i got my hall of fame picture from last year back. i tripped on the chair coming down. XD but it was all good and i stood for pictures with my picture from last year. lol. after that we did hall of fame.

and then it was over. lol. all of us teen leaders [the girls. XD] got a really pretty 4h bracelet and we talked to pam and a few other people for a while before coming home.

it went pretty well, since all of us were new at the awards and everything. it was cool.

How frightening.

well. i completely forgot about daylight savings time till i woke up at 'ten' and realized that my clock was still ahead and it was, in fact, only nine. so i got up earlier than usual. lol. and we had pancakes.

we went to the base. we went to burger king for lunch. it was pretty good, especially the cookie dough pie we had. =D after that we went to the exchange, and did some christmas shopping for my niece and nephew. i wanted to get limbs and branches, jon foreman's new cd but they didn't have it. =[ oh and i added david cook's cd to ones i want. but i think i might wait and ask for it for christmas, along with david archuletta's [why not...?] i also reallyreallyy want a pair of gray skinny jeans for christmas. lol. i guess i'm thinking about christmas now...it's really cool when you go to the store and they have christmas trees and wreaths and toyland set up. it makes you feel very christmasy. so i've starting thinking about what i want to and what i want to get for people.

after that we came home and fed, pretty much. lol. it's getting dark really early.

tomorrow's the 4h dinner. eek. save me now?

Happy November First.

i'm happy it's november. november is a pretty cool month. there's thanksgivings and pumpkin pies and turkeries, stories about pilgrims and just a lot of happiness in the air. things start really cooling down and all the leaves fall. it's the month before christmas, and i don't know, i just really like it. especially this year, for some reason.

anyway, yeah i have a new blog look. i wanted to do something new for november. so yeah, here it is. i like it. i probably won't keep it for long though. lol.

so today was pretty awesome. i got woken up at eight, and couldn't figure out why i was being woken up at eight on a saturday. we went to vote, and then met eric, who was already at work, for lunch. he went back to work and we went to get some horse feed and then we went to the mall. they were having some major sales. i got a pair of black jeans, a black v-neck shirt, a purple v-neck shirt, a green striped tank top and a cute black w/blue plaid jacket all for about thirty dollars. that's pretty awesome. and after that we brought pizza home for dinner.

so...i decided that after this open show next week, i probably won't do any shows other than 4h. at least for a while. it's too competive and though i like doing them with sheik, i think i'd rather focus on doing playdays for a while. they are a lot more fun and a lot less stressful. i don't have to worry about a show outfit, or my tack or whether my horse is clipped and clean and all that. the people are a lot nicer and i just had a ton more fun doing the playdays than i do doing shows. the 4h shows are fun, so i'll still be doing district && state.
