Seventeen Candles

the candles are purely metaphorical, because i didn't have any candles. lol. but anyway, yes, i am seventeen years old. i've been on this earth for exactly seventeen years. that's a long time, if you think about it. and it's been a long seventeen years. XD i'm happy to be seventeen though. i hope it will be a good year. we'll just have to see though.

so today we went shopping. i was looking for shoes to match my new dress. which was hard. i really want/wanted brown flats, but they only had one pair of brown shoes, and they were heels and i couldn't walk in them to save my life. well actually, not walking in them is saving my life. XD anyway, so i got a pair of white sandals that are really cute and were on sale for five dollars. you can't beat that and they do look really cute with the dress. i also got a pair of beaded tan heels that are really pretty and i haven't wanted for a long time. and i got darius ruckers cd, which i have listened to once. it's pretty great. i like ittt.

i had cheesecake instead of birthday cake. cause i'm weird and don't really like cake. i'd much rather have cheesecake and it tasted great. =]] yay for cheesecake. and everyone sang and all that. i also had a few ecards and phone calls and a lot of facebook comments! lol. so all in all pretty cool birthday. =] i'm also getting taylor swift's new album and blake shelton's new album when they come out in novemeber.

tomorrow we are going to the base...again. to get our id cards redone. how fun.

this is also the four year annivsary of us moving into our house. i remember it pretty well. we had moved here in september and had been living in a camper, four people and three dogs. lol. we were so happy to move into the house and decided to do it on my birthday. lol. anyway, four years is the longest i've ever lived in one place.
